The challenge
Valentian Vermouth, an innovative apperitif from the Tait Bros. is the first vermouth in the world to be enriched with a strong Scottish malt barley spirit, usually reserved for making single malt whisky. We were tasked with bringing the brothers’ vision to life by developing the brand identity and packaging for their creation.
The solution
Working closely with the Tait Bros. we discovered a deep connection to their past that inspired the graphic design of the brand. The nostalgia of their trips to Italy as youngsters, their love for the place they call home, and the golden age of vermouth, led the design to its completion. The final identity and art style draws on elements from Italian Art Deco, Roman history, Celtic heritage and the flavours found in Valentian Vermouth.
The brand was launched successfully with Valentian Vermouth Rosso.
Secco and Blanco varietals are soon to be released.
