Growing up in a house filled by movies, music and books, Kashia was always encouraged to explore her imagination - and so her creative “monster” was born. Taking herself too seriously, she decided that she wanted to be a journalist and chose English and History at Wits University. After the first year, she realised that her creative “monster” was hungry for more and changed her degree. After graduating from Wits in 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television, Kashia ventured out into the world of work, first working as a scipt writer in television, only to find that her creative “monster” was being forced into a cage. To unleash it she discovered, almost upon accident, the world of copywriting in advertising – fast paced, challenging and always creatively charged. Kashia completed her studies in copywriting at the London College of Communications in 2018 and now her Creative “monster” is free.
